Eurex Clearing will launch its new Prisma Margin Estimator (PME) on 16 November.
The service aims to enhance Eurex’s risk management services though a more sophisticated assessment of Prisma’s initial margins for current and hypothetical portfolios.
This additional service was developed in close collaboration with OpenGamma, a financial technology company specialising in market structure risk management solutions.
“We have worked closely with Eurex Clearing to ensure that the Eurex Clearing PME supports their state-of-the-art margin methodologies and the needs of their clients,” said Mas Nakachi, CEO of OpenGamma.
“The Eurex Clearing PME is the latest example of our close work with the derivatives industry to deliver much needed and enhanced margin analysis capabilities.”
