IHS Markit nabs Bedford-Forde for EMEA sales 14 August 2017London Reporter: Drew Nicol

IHS Markit has poached Charlie Bedford-Forde from Clearstream to manage its sales activity across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Bedford-Forde will focus on IHS Markit’s data and analytics products within its equities division, as well as working on the data provider’s joint venture with Pirum for the Securities Financing Transactions Regulation.
At Clearstream, Bedford-Forde was head of global securities finance relationship management for the UK, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
He first joined Clearstream in 2007 as a connectivity officer.
Bedford-Forde continues to be based in London and reports to Jennifer Theiss, IHS Markit’s global head of equity sales in New York.
