Citi has appointed a former iShares global head of relationships as its new global head of exchange traded fund (ETF) products.
Andrew Jamieson will be responsible for aligning global processes and outputs functions in relation to EFTs. He moves from Warriston Place Advisors where he was managing partner.
In addition, Jamieson will be building-out the firm’s fixed income and currency beta as well as developing the ETF custody and fund administration business.
Previously, Jamieson was managing director at BlackRock, managing the broker-dealer and market-maker relationships for iShares, BlackRock’s leading ETF provider, between 2012 and 2016.
He also served as J.P. Morgan’s head of equity finance for Europe, the Middle East and Asia, looking over securities lending and collateral management and firm financing from 2008 to 2012.
