GLMX, the New York-based comprehensive technology solution for the trading of securities financing transactions, has hired former Credit Suisse managing director Rory Zirpolo as it expands its securities lending business.
With its US and UK client base, GLMX aims to offers a platform that provides global money market trading solutions, and enable scalable back-end, rapid feature development, data tools, and direct connectivity to multiple portfolio management systems.
Zirpolo brings with him over 30 years of experience in the securities finance industry on both the buy and sell side. Most recently, Zirpolo worked in EquiLend’s business development group and before that as a managing director at WallachBeth Capital.
GLMX COO Sal Giglio tells SLT: “Rory Zirpolo is a valuable addition to the GLMX team and he will help guide our expansion of GLMX’s securities lending technology.
