CDS welcomes Kinart to its post-trade team
Craig Kinart has joined the post-trade team at the Canadian Depository for Securities (CDS) as senior manager for strategy and innovation.
As a specialist in post-trade and securities finance transactions, Kinart will play a central role in helping the Canadian CSD to release a series of new products into the Canadian market.
Prior to joining CDS, he worked for seven years at BNY Mellon as their head of product for Canada.
Before this, he served for 11 years at CIBC Mellon — which is joint-owned by BNY Mellon and CIBC — latterly as director of product management in global securities lending and previously as senior manager for application support in the capital markets team.
