Americas Executions (AmerX), a full-service broker dealer, has implemented a securities finance and collateral management (SFCM) platform from Broadridge Financial Solutions in its new securities lending business.

Kevin Cryan, managing director, head of securities lending, at AmerX, adds: “As we launch AmerX’s new securities lending business, Broadridge’s advanced solution provides the essential system functionalities enabling us to offer new products and services that address the growing needs of our clients, which is crucial for business growth.”

The SFCM platform offers a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution for securities finance, used across the global buy and sell side markets, including securities lending, repo, and collateral trading.

Broadridge says that its platform will enable AmerX to manage its securities lending operation, including collateral management, trade lifecycle management, and risk assessment to bring a streamlined process, enhanced transparency, and regulatory compliance.

“Broadridge’s advanced technology simplifies and innovates trading within a complex ecosystem through globally scalable solutions," says Darren Crowther, head of SFCM at Broadridge. “SFCM's comprehensive and scalable foundation will support AmerX in strengthening operations and enabling growth in an ever-evolving financial landscape.”
