Euronext Securities, a European central securities depository (CSD) operator, has appointed Stéphane Stovba as senior sales manager for its European expansion team.
Based in Paris, Stovba will report to Jérôme Blais, head of European expansion, who moved to the firm from BNP Paribas Securities Services in October 2024.
Stovba brings over 20 years of financial services experience to his new role.
Previously, he acted as sales director for Asset Management at Broadridge for over three years. Here, he would promote the firm’s buy side solutions to French speaking countries.
Stovba also held a 17-year-long tenure with BNP Paribas, taking on a number of positions within its Securities Services division, as well as its Corporate and Institutional Banking arm.
Most recently, he was head of business development for outsourced trading within Securities Services.
Commenting on the announcement, Pierre Davoust, head of Euronext Securities, says: “We're delighted to welcome a talent such as Stéphane at Euronext Securities.
"He will be instrumental in supporting our clients to achieve their goals and ultimately help the European market become larger, more integrated and supporting Europe's overall growth.”
