The International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) has welcomed Takasbank as a new member.
Headquartered in Istanbul, Takasbank offers clearing, settlement, custody, central counterparty clearing (CCP), and banking services to its members in the Turkish capital markets.
Established in 1991, Takasbank has been providing CCP services to the securities lending market since 2013.
“We look forward to working with the Takasbank team to support the growth of securities lending in Turkey,” says ISLA in the announcement.
With more than 200 member firms, ISLA represents the common interests of securities lending and financing market participants across EMEA.
Through its member working groups and securities lending guides, ISLA also plays a role in the creation and promotion of market best practices and processes.
