ICMA elects Lamarque as new Chair

The International Capital Market Association (ICMA) has elected new board members at the recent annual general meeting in Frankfurt.
The board subsequently elected Jean-Luc Lamarque, chairman of Primary Credit at Credit Agricole CIB, London as its new chair.
Lamarque succeeds Janet Wilkinson, managing director and head of global markets institutional sales for EMEA at RBC Capital Markets, who stepped down at the end of her term as an ICMA board member.
The elected board members include Abena Amoah, CEO and managing director at Ghana Stock Exchange, alongside Stephen Fisher, head of government and public affairs at Deutsche Bank.
Also joining the board are Christoph Hock, head of tokenisation and digital assets at Union Investment, and Jean-Luc Lamarque, chairman of primary credit at Credit Agricole CIB.
The remaining seats were taken by Henrik Raber, global head of global banking at Standard Chartered; Claudio Vittorio Volpi, head of ALM and funding at UniCredit GmbH; as well as Min Zhu, chief market officer of Bank of China London Branch.
