Wells Fargo has welcomed Charles Adams as senior lead in European rates securities trading.

Based in London, he will be responsible for training and building a capital-disciplined market making platform across sovereigns, supranationals, and agencies (SSA), as well as related rates securities.

Having joined J.P. Morgan in 2011, Adams held a number of positions at the firm, having most recently worked as executive director, head of EMEA SSA / credit repo trading.

While at J.P. Morgan, he spent time in Paris as executive director, head of EMEA specials trading, where he established and ran the continental SSA / credit repo trading desk and managed grass-roots collateral and financial resource onboarding across to the European entity.

Adams has a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master's degree in computer science, both from Durham University.
