Ripple has integrated Ripple Prime, its multi-asset prime brokerage platform, with EDX Markets and EDXM International — institutional digital asset trading venues with a central clearing house and a crypto platform, respectively.

The integration will afford Ripple Prime’s clients access to EDX’s spot and perpetual future liquidity for digital assets within a unified prime brokerage framework.

The joint venture also lays the foundation for the future integration of Ripple USD (RLUSD), the firm’s US dollar-pegged stablecoin, as a settlement and collateral asset on EDX.

Speaking on the partnership, Michael Higgins, international CEO of Ripple Prime, says: “Building the next generation of prime brokerage requires partnering with venues that provide a secure, liquid bridge between traditional and digital markets.

“EDX is institutional-grade and delivers the performance, reliability, and depth that our clients expect.

Tony Acuña-Rohter, CEO of EDX Markets, adds: “By integrating with Ripple Prime, we’re expanding access to deep, transparent liquidity across spot and perpetual futures markets through a capital-efficient framework designed for scale.”
