Hazeltree selects Shri Rohatgi

Hazeltree has appointed Rowan Shri Rohatgi as sales manager for hedge funds.
Based in New York, he will report to Doug Trafalet, the firm’s chief commercial officer.
He joins the company following a six-year term with Goldman Sachs, where he spent his career in Prime Services across Singapore and London.
Here, Shri Rohatgi gained insight into the liquidity, margin, counterparty, and operational challenges hedge funds and asset managers navigate every day.
During his career, he has also held roles within Wellington Management, GMO, and Deloitte India.
Commenting on this new role, Shri Rohatgi says: “I joined Hazeltree as I wanted to pivot into fintech, drawn to the treasury management solutions we provide to help fund managers unlock alpha.
“I believe Hazeltree is a perfect match for my background servicing hedge funds and asset managers, and I'm excited to help us grow in the space.”
Hazeltree adds that outside of work, Shri Rohatgi is a passionate cook and avid traveler, having lived and worked across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, the UK, and the US, he brings a truly global perspective.
