TMX Post Trade reports that its Canadian Collateral Management System (CCMS) processed more than US$1 trillion in turnover during the first half of 2026.

According to the firm, the increase in turnover reflects broader industry adoption of automated collateral management infrastructure in Canada.

The platform is used by Canadian banks and buy side firms to manage collateral movements across secured funding markets, providing operational efficiency, and allowing users to optimise liquidity and mitigate risk.

CCMS supports centralised collateral processing and standardised post‑trade workflows for repo and related transactions.

The system continues to operate as a core component of the country’s secured funding and post‑trade environment.
