The International Capital Market Association (ICMA) has welcomed CMU Omniclear to its China Repo Committee.
The committee is composed of representatives, banks, market infrastructures, and other key stakeholders.
The China Repo Committee was established in April 2026 under ICMA’s Global Repo and Collateral Forum, which forms part of ICMA’s broader repo governance framework under the ICMA International Repo and Collateral Council.
In an online statement, a spokesperson from CMU Omniclear says: “With the China repo market growing in prominence within the global fixed income landscape, the committee aims to serve as a platform for constructive industry dialogue and technical input on its ongoing development.
“We look forward to collaborating with fellow member institutions to help enhance global market access to the Chinese repo market.”
