HSBC has appointed Fiona Neville as head of Securities Services Sales, Europe & Middle East.

Neville will lead the EMEA Securities Services Sales team, with responsibility for securing new mandates.

She will be based in London, reporting to Matt Kiraly, global head of Securities Services Sales, and Simon Derrick, head of Europe & Middle East Institutional Sales.

Neville will also join the Global Securities Services Sales and EMEA Institutional Sales leadership teams.

She joins from Deutsche Bank where she was head of Securities Services, Europe.

Prior to that role, she spent nearly 20 years at J.P. Morgan where she held several senior leadership roles across Securities Services.

The bank says that she has a strong track record of building client-led businesses and strengthening strategic relationships.

Commenting on her appointment, Neville says on LinkedIn: “I'm pleased to share that I've joined HSBC as Head of Securities Services Sales, Europe & Middle East.

“HSBC has a distinctive position across the region with a strong client franchise, extensive market reach and significant ambition for the business.

“I'm looking forward to working with colleagues across EMEA and globally to deepen client partnerships, support the growth of the franchise and help shape the next phase of the business.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way and to my new colleagues at HSBC for their warm welcome.

“Exciting opportunities ahead!”
