Squire departs BNY

Simon Squire, managing director, global head of product for Clearance and Collateral Management, is to leave BNY following nine years with the bank.
Based in London, he was responsible for driving business strategy and leading initiatives that enhance client experience and product capabilities, including strategic partnerships with external firms.
During his time at the bank, Squire took on a number of senior positions including EMEA head of product and head of product strategy.
Squire has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, and is currently a member of the Canadian Collateral Infrastructure and Market Practices Advisory Group (CIMPA), as well as HQLAx board member.
Prior to joining BNY, he held an 11-year tenure at Goldman Sachs, where he was most recently global head of Liquidity & Treasury Operations Business Architecture, and London head of Bank Relations.
At Goldman Sachs, he took on various global leadership roles in financing — including repo and securities lending — collateral mobilisation, and optimisation.
