Capco has been appointed as a D7 digital market partner to support the institutional adoption of Deutsche Börse Group’s next-generation digital post-trade infrastructure, operated by Clearstream.

Through this partnership, Capco will assist financial institutions with target operating model design, technology delivery, systems integration, and large-scale migration programmes as capital markets transition toward digital securities and automated post-trade processes.

The D7 platform provides a fully digital framework for automated securities issuance and post-trade processing.

According to Capco, the infrastructure is designed to increase automation, improve efficiency, and prepare market participants for the continued evolution of digital securities and tokenised assets.

As the operator of the platform, Clearstream provides post-trade infrastructure for global financial markets, with more than €22 trillion in assets under custody.

Its infrastructure supports securities issuance, settlement, custody, collateral management, securities lending, and liquidity services.
