Provable Markets, operator of the securities finance platform Aurora, has released its platform metrics for the third quarter of 2026.

For quarter-over-quarter growth, total orders jumped 88 per cent to 7.8 million.

Executed notional also displayed strong increases reaching US$57 billion across 751 million shares.

Total order notional for the three-month period grew to US$134 trillion, rising 177 per cent from the previous quarter.

Trade count for the quarter stood at 32,866, which represents an 89 per cent increase from the second quarter.

Year to date, the Aurora platform has supported executions spanning more than 4,000 unique securities.

In July, a new monthly peak in order notional was established at US$58 trillion, nearly doubling the prior record of US$30.1 trillion set in June.

August followed with a 45 per cent increase in executed notional month-on-month, reaching US$19.9 billion.

September closed the quarter with all-time highs in both executed notional at US$24 billion, and monthly trade count at 13,444.

Provable Markets operates Aurora as an US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)-registered alternative trading system, and a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member broker-dealer.

Aurora supports securities finance activity for US equities with direct central counterparty connectivity to the National Securities Clearing Corporation SFT Clearing Service, and the OCC.
