Deutsche Bank appoints Sprecher as Global Head of Agency Securities Lending

Deutsche Bank has appointed Cassie von Sprecher as global head of Agency Securities Lending (ASL), effective immediately.
Von Sprecher previously served as global head of sales for ASL, having joined the business’s leadership team earlier this year.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, she spent more than 10 years at State Street, most recently serving as managing director and EMEA head of financing solutions sales and client management.
During her time at State Street, von Sprecher also held senior roles across funding and collateral business development, strategy, trading, analytics and product development in London and Boston.
She succeeds Zorawar Singh, who is leaving Deutsche Bank to pursue an opportunity outside the bank.
Commenting on the appointment, Johnny Grimes, head of Corporate Cash Product and head of Corporate Bank Ireland at Deutsche Bank, says: “Cassie has already made a significant contribution to our Agency Securities Lending business and has built strong relationships with our clients and teams across the franchise.
“ASL remains an important strategic business for us, and under Cassie’s leadership we will continue to focus on serving our clients, growing the business and further strengthening the franchise.”
