Citi has appointed Paul Haddad as a trader in the firm’s agency securities financing team.

Based in Hong Kong, he will report to Benjamin Burns, head of securities finance trading for Asia Pacific.

Haddad joins the firm from Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB), where he held a position within the firm’s equity derivatives trading team.

Prior to this, he was based in SGCIB’s Paris office as an intern focused on FX and securities lending trading.

Earlier in his career, he was positioned at BFT Investment Managers (now merged with CPR Asset Management) as an assistant portfolio manager.
