Tariq Aziz has left Deutsche Bank after a decade with the firm.
Based in London, Aziz was most recently positioned as an agency securities lending trader.
During his tenure with the firm, he held a number of other roles such as global debt model owner within Treasury Liquidity Modelling, as well as a structuring and business management role within the firm’s Capital Release Group division.
While at Deutsche Bank, he assisted in developing an ‘IT and numeracy in the workplace’ course, to provide skills to refugees seeking stable employment.
Here, he worked as part of a team of consultants from the Deutsche Bank Group Management Consulting team through a partnership between Deutsche Bank CSR UK and Breaking Barriers.
Aziz has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Commenting on his departure in an online statement, Aziz says: “Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way — across Group Management Consulting, Capital Release Unit, Treasury Liquidity Modelling, and finally as a trader in agency securities lending.
“I’ve been fortunate to work alongside and do business with some exceptional people, and a special thank you to those who managed and mentored me. You’ve all made my time at the bank memorable, and I look forward to keeping in touch.”
