Pavlidou leaves BNY

Sofia Pavlidou has departed her role at BNY following four years with the bank.
Based in London, she was most recently product lead for central clearing services on BNY’s Global Collateral platform.
Here, Pavlidou led end-to-end build and market launch of central clearing solutions on BNY’s Global Collateral platform in response to the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s mandatory central clearing rule.
During her time with BNY, Pavlidou took on roles within several areas of the business, including payments product, market sales, and within BNY Pershing’s global strategy.
Pavlidou joined BNY from CIL Management Consultants where she took on the position of an M&A research consultant.
The departure comes as she becomes a founder in residence at Founders, a San Francisco-based startup incubator, venture capital firm, and campus for early-stage builders.
