Jennifer Keser is Head of Market Structure & Regulation, EMEA & APAC at Tradeweb. Since joining the firm in 2016, she has taken the lead on financial regulatory affairs efforts in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions, focused on the fixed income and derivatives markets.
In her role, Jenn advises Tradeweb on the regulatory trajectory affecting the industry, and also proactively identifies commercial opportunities, business risk and operational requirements associated with regulatory reform and their impact on market structure. She regularly meets with buy-side clients, liquidity providers, policymakers and regulators, to communicate the firm’s approach in these areas.
Jenn is a member of ESMA’s Secondary Markets Working Group (SMWG), whose mandate is to work on structure, transparency and efficiency of secondary markets for financial instruments, and also to develop technical standards and guidelines, preparing advice to the European Commission in relation to MiFID. She is also a member of the FCA’s Secondary Markets Advisory Committee, and has served as chair of EDMA Europe (Electronic Debt Markets Association Europe).
Prior to joining Tradeweb, Jenn worked in government affairs and public policy at Credit Suisse, J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs. She holds a bi-lingual double Masters in International Affairs from the London School of Economics and Sciences Po Paris, and completed her B.A. in political science at Wellesley College.
In 2018, Jenn was named Legal/Compliance Professional of the Year at the inaugural Waters Technology Women in Technology and Data Awards. She was also named winner of the 'Excellence in Trading Platforms' category at the 2021 European Women in Finance Markets Choice Awards.
