CACEIS has grown its securities lending and repo team in Amsterdam.
Jeffrey Schippers has joined the asset servicing bank as a senior trader for securities lending, repo and collateral management from KAS Bank, where he had worked in a similar role for just over 17 years.
Schippers also brings experience as a screen trader for Amadeus Execution where he was responsible for executing and administrating electronic-driven buy- and sell notifications in various markets.
The appointment follows a string of promotions in CACEIS’s European securities finance business in July, which included Donia Rouigueb taking on the role of head of sales securities finance and repo, based in Milan.
At the same time, Dan Copin was promoted to group head of securities finance and repo at CACEIS Bank, in Luxembourg.
