Securities Finance Association welcomes Mirae Asset Securities as newest member

The Securities Finance Association, formerly known as PASLA, has confirmed Mirae Asset Servicing as an official member.

Mirae Asset Servicing will be joining as a Prime Lite member, bringing the association’s membership to 95.

The firm is a global investment specialist that offers a range of investment products and services, including brokerage, capital funding, and online trading.

Mirae Asset Servicing currently operates 24 overseas subsidiaries (excluding holdings companies) and three offices across 11 regions worldwide, including the United States, Europe, South America, and Asia.

The company has approximately 5,300 employees engaged in various businesses such as local Brokerage, Wealth Management, Sales & Trading, and Principal Investment.

Mirae Asset Servicing introduced the Mirae Asset Portfolio Service, a global platform that allows users to trade traditional and digital assets.

The firm joins a number of companies under the Securities Finance Association membership such as: Blackrock, Citibank NA, Euroclear, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs, and J.P. Morgan.

The Prime Lite membership is tailored for securities houses, participating dealers, inter-dealer brokers, physical and synthetic prime brokers that operate in a single market within Asia Pacific that are involved with securities finance transactions.
