Weeden Prime Services expands to meet growing demand
14 August 2015 Connecticut

Weeden Prime Services, a US-based prime brokerage services provider for hedge funds, has expanded its sales and client services teams.
The expansion is in response to market growth and increasing demand for its prime brokerage services, according to Weeden Prime.
Robert Jordan and Andrew Brown, previously of Wells Fargo Advisors, and Robert Kalaf of Jefferies Group, are the latest additions to Weeden Prime’s team.
Jordan was a partner of Wells Fargo’s prime brokerage division since 2008. He was central in establishing and expanding Wells Fargo’s presence in Boston and will play a similar role at Weeden.
“The emerging and middle market hedge fund manager needs a reliable and dedicated prime services partner that will provide the platform and services needed to help manage and grow their business, Weeden is well positioned to be that partner,” said Jordan.
Brown brings more than 20 years of sales experience to the firm. He was also a partner in Wells Fargo’s prime brokerage division since 2007.
Brown said: “This is a great time to be a part of Weeden as the firm has incurred tremendous growth in clients and team members.”
Kalaf leaves the Jefferies prime brokerage services division, where he worked since 2011. He directly interfaced with and supporting multiple clients.
“The Weeden Prime team has built an incredible platform that offers turnkey solutions to a wide variety of investment managers. The firm is constantly looking for ways to differentiate themselves from the competition,” he said.
